Chiropodist Home Visits in Glasgow

Can’t get to our clinics? AA Podiatry offers podiatry (chiropody) home visits (domiciliary chiropody) across selected areas of Glasgow. Our HCPC-registered podiatrists bring safe, professional foot care to you—ideal for older adults, people without transport, the partially sighted, bedbound patients, carers arranging visits, and anyone who finds travel difficult. (Please note: a home-visit surcharge applies; coverage is limited—see “Areas we cover”.)

What we can do on a house call

Chiropodist home visits
  • Routine foot care: nail cutting, thickened nail reduction, corns & callus treatment

  • Comfort & safety: painful skin/nails made comfortable; footwear and skin-care advice

  • Diabetic foot checks: circulation/sensation screening, risk reduction advice

  • Minor skin/nail issues: ingrown nail relief (non-surgical), cracked heels, advice for athlete’s foot and fungal nails.

Some procedures (e.g., nail surgery and other certain advanced treatments) are clinical based. If needed, we’ll arrange a priority appointment at Shettleston or Clarkston.

How It Works

  1. Booking & eligibility – confirm your postcode, access, and any priorities (e.g., diabetes).

  2. Arrival & setup – we bring sterilised instruments and protective equipment; you simply provide a comfortable chair for yourself to sit on!

  3. Assessment & treatment – we discuss your concerns, carry out care, and agree a simple home routine.

  4. Aftercare & follow-up – clear advice, suggested review date, and any onward clinic referral if required.
